Georgia high school students have two options for their journey to graduation: the traditional academic pathway or the CTAE (Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education) track that identifies 17 career and vocational clusters (see all offered in Georgia), each with its own set of pathways students can pursue.  Hutchings Academy has selected specific pathways for careers that are currently in high demand and puts students on a fast track to achieving their college and career goals.

Students can be fully college or career ready with dual-enrollment courses and industry certifications available through Hutchings’ college partner, Central Georgia Technical CollegeWe also have a range of internship and work opportunities with corporate partners like Coca-Cola, Geico, and Perdue.  Dual-enrollment courses offer high school and transferrable college credit for the same class. Students can earn an Early College Essentials Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) with up to 30 hours of college credit to apply toward a bachelor’s or associate degree.

The bottom line at Hutchings is that students can save up to a year’s worth of time and money toward preparation for their future with college creditsindustry certifications, and work experiences before they have even graduated from high school.
