Information

The typical Hutchings student arrives at their home high school in time to catch the bus to Hutchings for the first three periods of the day or the last three periods in the afternoon. Their  class begins at 8:00 or 12:15 and ends at 9:45 or 2:00. This extended class time may include both traditional academic instruction and hands-on lab experience. Some students travel by bus from Hutchings to Central Georgia Technical College for their class. They then return by the same bus to Hutchings to catch the bus back to their home high school. In this way, Hutchings students get the best of both worlds: college experience while not missing out on the activities of their home high school.
