Meredith has been with GEICO since 1986. GEICO is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. GEICO is the second largest private passenger auto carrier in the United States. GEICO opened its Macon location on June 13, 1973 in the First National Bank building in downtown and moved to its current Ocmulgee East Blvd campus on August 12, 1974.
Meredith is on the Board of Directors for Volunteer Macon as well as the Bibb County CTAE Advisory board. Meredith served as an Adjunct Professor at Georgia College & State University in the department of Management for many years and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Fort Valley State University in the departments of Business & Economics.
Meredith received his Associate of Science degree in Business Administration from Gordon College (now Gordon Sate College); Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management from Georgia College & State University; Master of Science degree in Management from Georgia College & State University; and his Master of Public Administration degree in Human Resource Management from Georgia College & State University.
Meredith is a graduate of Henry County High School in McDonough Georgia.
